As of January 2009, all EASA Part 145 Maintenance Repair and
Overhaul for the Islander, Trislander and Defender aircraft
fleets will be transferred from Fly BN Limited to BN Aviation
Ltd - a wholly owned subsidiary of Britten-Norman.
The company, which will also be providing fleet
support for the Cirrus Design SR 20 and SR 22 fleet, is able to
provide services for a range of other General Aviation aircraft.
Additional capabilities that the company will
provide from 2009 include enhanced repair and overhaul
capabilities, aircraft refurbishment and aircraft painting for
most fixed wing and rotary aircraft up to the size of the Twin
Otter. Under its newly established Part M approval, the company
can provide a range of managed airworthiness services including
ARC renewals. |
